DAY 1 – AIRPORT / NEGOMBO

You will be greeted by a representative of Ebert Silva Holidays at the Bandaranaike International Airport and transferred to Negombo. Enjoy a city tour of this most popular coastal stopover, best known for its fishing industry. Discover the clusters of interesting restaurants serving fresh seafood and visit quaint shops selling local handicrafts, batiks and jewelry.

DAY 2 – NEGOMBO / SIGIRIYA

After Breakfast, proceed to Sigiriya. One of the most valuable historical monuments in Sri Lanka, Sigiriya, is named among the new Wonders of the World. The Sigiriya Rock Fortress is a must-see site with amazing architecture, engineering and art of the 5^th century AD. Thereafter, you can visit the Dambulla Cave Temple. It comprises of five large caves adorned with Buddha statues, colorful paintings and well-preserved religious works of art. Both Sigiriya and Dambulla are UNESCO declared World Heritage Sites.

DAY 3 – TRINCOMALEE

After breakfast, proceed to Trincomalee, a major resort and port city located in the east of Sri Lanka. You will have the opportunity of visiting the picturesque Trincomalee harbor which is one of the finest natural deep water harbors in the world. Be ready to enjoy and relax in the enchanting paradise isle with its sunny beaches. The Nilaveli Beach, which is about 16 km north of Trincomalee is a must-visit beach with its beautiful white sands and waves ideal for surfing, diving and snorkeling.

DAY 4 – TRINCOMALEE

After breakfast visit the Pigeon Island National Park, Marble Beach and the Koneswaram Temple. You can also engage in many thrilling water sports or simply relax on the beach. Overnight stay in Trincomalee.

DAY 5 – TRINCOMALEE

After breakfast, you may spend the day according to your preference at leisure. You also have the choice of taking part in excursions such as visiting the Kokkilai Bird Sanctuary, observing the mangroves, whale and dolphin watching, snorkeling and diving among many other thrilling activities.

DAY 6 – PASIKUDA

After breakfast head to Pasikuda. Here too you can enjoy many water activities such as snorkeling, diving and jet skiing among others. En route visit the Seruwawila Temple, a foremost ancient Buddhist temple in the island. Check in to your hotel and spend the day at leisure. You can also visit the serene Kalkuda Beach.

DAY 7 – POLONNARUWA / DAMBULLA

After breakfast, proceed to the heritage city of Polonnaruwa. Explore the magnificent ruins of the island’s second royal capital and be marveled by the feats of architecture, art and engineering of the past.

DAY 8 – COLOMBO / AIRPORT

After breakfast you will be transferred to Colombo. Board the open deck double decker of the ‘Colombo City Tour’ for a delightful professionally guided city sightseeing experience in Sri Lanka’s foremost city. At the end of your memorable beach vacation we bid goodbye with the hope of seeing you in Sri Lanka again. You will be guided to the airport for your flight back home.
