4 NIGHT 5 DAYS TOUR

DAY 1 – PINNAWALA / DAMBULLA

You will be welcomed by a representative of Ebert Silva Holidays at the Bandaranaike International Airport and transferred to Dambulla. En-route visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. The sanctuary is known to be a reserve that possesses the world’s largest herd of captive elephants that have been found orphaned or injured in the wild.

Visit the Golden Temple and Cave Temples of Dambulla. This UNESCO World Heritage Site will take you on a personal pilgrimage as you walk from one cave to another captivated by hundreds of Buddha statues, colorful paintings and well-preserved works of art.

Overnight stay in Dambulla.

DAY 2 – ANURADHAPURA

After breakfast, leave for Anuradhapura. Sightsee the ancient city of Anuradhapura which held power as the political and religious capital of the island for 1,300 years. Visit the highlights of the extensive UNESCO World Heritage City such as the Sri Maha Bodhi Tree, Ruwanweli Stupa , Abhayagiri and Jetawanarama Stupas, the Twin Ponds and the Samadhi Buddha among many other ancient sacred and secular monuments.

Overnight stay in Anuradhapura.

DAY 3 – POLONNARUWA | SIGIRIYA

After breakfast proceed to Polonnaruwa. You will visit the ruins of the Royal Palace, the Gal Vihara, and view the three splendid statues of the Buddha in upright, sedentry and recumbent postures carved out of a large rock.

In the afternoon you will visit Sigiriya rock. Climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Then proceed to the hill capital of Kandy for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 – Kandy / Negombo

After breakfast enjoy a city tour of Kandy – the hill capital of the island. Sightseeing will include the Upper Lake Drive, Market Square, Arts and Crafts Center, Royal Botanical Gardens, a gem museum and a lapidary. Sri Lanka produces the finest quality of gems in the world and is famous for its Blue Sapphires. Visit the Temple of the sacred Tooth Relic and witness the heritage and grandeur of the hill capital. Proceed to Negombo thereafter, with dinner and overnight stay in Negombo.

Day 5 – Negombo / Colombo

After breakfast be at leisure in Negombo beach and transfer to Colombo. Whilst in Colombo join the open top double decker city sightseeing experience to have an insight into the history and heritage of Sri Lanka’s commercial capital and premier city. As we come to the end of your delightful vacation you will be guided to the airport for your onward journey.
